KentSamurai Ju-Jitsu club members came home with a impressive tally of medals from the recent international and national championships in Southend.
More than 300 fights took place with everyone competing hard for the top prizes.

Kristos Metaxas-Garvey won Silver in Peewee empty hand KATA, Bronze in peewee Ground Fighting and Bronze in Peewee Pairs Demonstration, with his twin Kieron Metaxas-Garvey. New Ash Green Ben Sutton won two impressive Gold medals in Ground Fighting and Pairs Demonstration.
FawkhamElla Molloy won Gold in Ground Fighting, Silver in Empty Hand KATA and Silver in Pairs Demonstration.
New Ash Green Harry Hopgood won Gold in Pairs Demonstration and Silver in Ground fighting.
Ditton based Tyler Smith won Silver in Pairs Demonstration and Bronze in Ground fighting
Louis Dunkerely from Snodland claimed Silver in Sparring and Bronze in Ground Fighting
Lucia Algar from Culverstone won Bronze in Sparring and Ground Fighting. Fawkham Isha Chhatwall won Bronze in Ground Fighting and Nunchaku Weapons KATA.
West Kingsdown based brothers Bradley Quick won Bronze in Sparring and Maximus Quick won Bronze in peewee ground fighting.
The medal collection was completed with Larkfields’ Sensei Eddie Garvey winning Gold in Adults Pairs Demonstration, with Sensei Grant Wakeman.
